"The room was okay, but was in need of refurbishment. I.E. Furniture was old, only one bedside table, electric sockets difficult to get to, bathroom door handle loose. Stayed 2 nights and bed not made with room cleaning. Had a meal in the bar that was served cold."

"The staff are very friendly. The room was cozy, and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, as was anything we ordered from the restaurant at dinner. Great food. The village is small, so it was a nice short little walk to the store, and castle nearby. We're very happy we stayed here, and we would definitely stay here again."

"No fault of the hotel but when booked with Hotels.commit was booked as a Hilton. Apparently it has changed ownership and we were never informed by hotels.com which resulted in confusion when trying to look up the hotel on navigation "

"It was a nice place to stay, comfortable and everything i needed was available like an iron which is a must for me. The only problem i had was the bed was too soft which made it very uncomfortable for me to sleep in but other thsn that it was a nice little house."

"We just had a great family vacation at Muir Estate! The house itself is modern with all the amenities of a 4/5 star hotel with the added bonus that the hosts will arrange the bedrooms and beds to suit your specific family needs. For kids and animal lovers seeing the deer and being able to feed them was an added bonus. Overall the home is the perfect blend of remote enough to feel like you are away from it all to being bang in the middle of Scotland a short drive from all the major cities/airports and on the doorstep of the highlands for sightseeing.
