Outdoor spaces Keeler Lake Lodge features ample outdoor areas to enjoy - a large sandy private beach, two large decks + a balcony, a patio with a grill, and a fire pit with 10 seats. The beach is sandy and the waters are shallow for the first several yards in, making it perfect for little ones to splash in. Walk to the end of the dock and have a seat on our bench and fish or just take in the views of the lake. Take the kayak or paddle board out for a ride or play a game of bags/cornhole along the shore. Children’s life vests, rafts, and sand toys are available for use. On the main level deck, dine alfresco at the 10 person dining table or enjoy a beverage on the loveseat and chairs. Prefer to lounge in the sun? Go down a flight of stairs to our lower deck and catch some rays on the chaise lounge chairs or swing in the macrame swings.
About the Area Located in southeast Michigan, only 2 hours from Chicago and ~2.5 hours from Detroit. The location is the perfect balance of peace and fun in the sun. The lake is in a serene area, surrounded by apple orchards and an asparagus farm, however it is still within a 15 minute drive to local restaurants, breweries and shops. The region is known as the fruit belt so you will find several orchards, farm stands, and wineries within a 10-30 minute drive. Whether you’re looking for a sun filled summer vacation, a spring or fall trip to explore fruit farms and orchards, or a cozy winter getaway, Keeler Lake Lodge is the perfect place to create unforgettable memories.

Stayed while going to Swiss valley to ski and snowboard house is out of town a bit which was very nice is a steal for the price the hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had view is better than advertised would recommend to anyone
This place is beautiful. My grandkids had so much fun fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. The house is spotless and very well stocked. The owner was responsive and helpful. We hope to go back soon!!
The water level, the dock, beach, kayaks and paddleboards were perfect for our kids and grandchildren. We enjoyed the outdoors together, including our meals - as the sun set directly behind the house, providing shade for lunch and dinner. Every cook was extremely pleased with the kitchen and provisions for cooking meals. It's a quick drive to sand dunes and Lake Michigan. I've already recommended the place to friends and family.
Great vacation!!! The house was very comfortable, sitting on the decks, yes, several decks, overlooking the lake is so relaxing. The water toys (paddleboards, kayaks) were a huge plus. The lake is so refreshing and the fish love to nibble on your toes!! My family had a wonderful time. Thanks so much Trevah!!Sandi Wagener
This was our 3rd year to Keeler lake and it was a blast. We always have a lot of family come up and it’s always hard to leave. We picked a different house this year and was kinda a let down though. When we got there we found out the washer was not in service , some ceiling fans did not work, and the house was pretty dirty to say the least. Also we found an open area on the deck that’s on the top floor and would have been easy for a toddler to fall through and fell 15ft down. I did let the manger know and she called right away. The place outside was grown over really bad as well to where the owner sent a cleaning crew to open up the staircase to the lake. I love the area but I don’t recommend the house we stayed at.
