A PERFECT place for a ROMANTIC escape in the heart of southwest Michigan. A modern cottage in a country setting. The bird feeder is kept full, the deer roam free, the creek runs year round, and the stars shine bright. Hygge atmosphere, like Winnie the Pooh says, “You don’t say it, you feel it.” You may even hear the coyotes howl.
Private but safe for the solo traveler as hosts are close.

Her wooded canopy will provide wildlife up close. The field across from the cottage may grace you with a new baby calf or you may see the Blue Heron walking down the creek. The sweep of deck or gazebo will allow for hours of outside lounging, games, and grilling.

Stop by our family owned store in 3-Rivers, and grab all you need to fix yourself a gourmet meal in our fully equipped kitchen. From steaks, to fresh brats, to smoked meat you should be able to find a favorite. Use the gas grill or for the true campers enjoy the camp fire.

We are in the country so the farm lane can be muddy at times. Also there are bugs and mosquitoes in seasons.

Fantastic Modern Cottage in farm country!

Incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Even prettier in person than the pictures, small creek, easy trails, and bird feeders along with covered and screened-in gazabo just made it a wonderful visit. Really looking forward to ideally going back next year. Hosts were absolutely fantastic and super friendly and made the process extremely easy and simple.

Amazing getaway

The Stutzmans have a really special property here. This cottage is perfect for a couples getaway to relax and enjoy each other and nature. The listing is perfectly accurate and the place is even cuter in person. Well worth the price and I'm sure we will be coming back in the future!

A cozy quiet sanctuary!

Hubs and I stayed at Creekside Cottage the weekend of the Perseids Meteor Shower. What a delightful oasis off the beaten path! Quiet seclusion combined with picture perfect landscaping made us not want to leave. The stargazing at the cottage was wonderful and the proximity to Dr. Lawless Dark Sky Park made it the ideal location. Will definitely visit this little slice of Heaven again!

We have stayed in the Bungalow on two previous occasions

This was our 2yr anniversary of dating. On our 6M anniversary we stayed there for the first time. The hosts are so Friendly and have thought of everything when they furnished all three of there cottages. Class A Couple. I'm sure we will make time to come back again in the summer when we can spend more time exploring the property.

The cottage was perfect for my needs. Very private and isolated. It was clean and was exactly as it appeared in the photos. Watching the hummingbirds at the nectar feeder on the deck was very relaxing. Dawn was a wonderful host and offered her assistance with anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful cottage retreat

Perfect creek side retreat tucked away down a peaceful country lane. Property was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Dawn was very responsive and genuinely kind. Loved the screened in gazebo, hammock and trails right off the backyard. Also recommend the hike to Big Rock in the property binder. Will definitely come again!!!

Perfect Little Getaway

This was possibly the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. The owner's attention to detail was top notch, the perfect home away from home. If you're wanting a quiet retreat, this is the perfect place. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for location is that it is a bit remote, so if you're looking for a lot of activities, it is definitely small town. For us, it was perfection. Loved the local restaurants and the location of Swiss Valley skiing. Be sure to check out The Friendly Bar & Grill and Wakey Jakes! We will definitely be coming back.

A beautiful hidden Gem

We were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful setting of this property. Just so peaceful and serene. Wonderful accomodations. Super clean. The hosts supplied extra touches, like snacks and information on local things to do in the area. Loved the hiking trail and watching the birds at the feeders just outside the living room. Great communication from the host as well. Will definitely return.

The property was incredible but what made it better was having such a great host. The hosts were great. From fresh, homemade cinnamon rolls and friendly waves from the tractor to making sure we were able to access the property safely and with special accommodation. To say we will be back is an understatement... we will be back very soon and very often. The experience was fantastic on all accounts. Thank you again so much!

Amazing Getaway in the Woods

This place was such a gem. The cottage is immaculate and very stylish. The nature surrounding is breathtaking and very peaceful. There's a bird feeder in front of the sliding door that allows you to watch the nature come and go. My husband and I were able to unplug and enjoy without any worries. We'll definitely be back! :D

April Getaway

Totally Awesome! Place was impressive, secluded and private. Exceeded expectations by a bunch. If I could give 6 stars, I would. This hideaway had everything to make our stay perfect. Dawn had us setup with fresh cinnamon rolls to enjoy from the get go. There is a fire pit , a gazebo with table , grill and trails to follow. The bird feeder was so entertaining from many different birds and the cutest chipmunks. We are hoping to return soon. A great getaway!

Beautifully decorated cabin in tranquil setting

Stayed at the Creek Side Cabin last weekend with my husband and our two elementary aged children. The inside of the cabin is beautifully decorated and very inviting. The cabin itself is nestled in a little clearing right next to a peaceful creek. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and hanging out around the camp fire we built each evening. The owner, Dawn, is so thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly went above and beyond for us! Looking forward to another visit in the future when we need to unplug and relax.

Special Place

The cottage is lovely, immaculately clean, with so many thoughtful touches. The hosts have thought of everything their guests could possibly need, even leaving us delicious cinnamon rolls. We really enjoyed the location, nestled in a wooded area with a picturesque stream running beside the cottage. The only regret was the listing stated having a hot tub, which was incorrect. We stayed for my husband's 50th birthday, and a hot tub was his one request he asked me for when finding us a place to stay, so that was disappointing. However, the overall stay was wonderful and I would definitely recommend.

Secluded cottage on a charming farm

This cottage is only 1 month old. It still smells brand new! Very clean and tastefully decorated. The owners Dawn & Virgil are very gracious hosts. The cottage sits on a secluded wooded lot next to a nice little creek on their 60 plus acre farm. The farm has its own marketplace and butcher shop. The Bullseye Market is a must visit. You can get anything from fresh cut rib-eye steaks to blueberry pie there. You can watch cow milking at sunrise and grill your choice of high quality meat on your open fire pit at sunset. Very nice place to get away and soak in nature and the farm life.

Just WOW

Plain and simple? We fell in love with this place. It was absolutely perfect for the two of us for a four night stay. It was quiet and peaceful. We were on the Go the whole time we were there due to family commitments- but we want to come back so we can just be still and enjoy. The sound of the creek running is so peaceful and relaxing. The personal touches that the owner put on the cabin rental were so great. Subtle Christmas Decorations, cookies left out for us, coffee and creamer at the ready- it was all just FANTASTIC. You absolutely cannot go wrong if you choose to stay here. We will be back! -From Richmond, VA
