Enough room for the entire family or multiple families. This lakefront property is approximately 4,260 square feet with plenty of room throughout. Interior amenities include a hot tub, indoor bar, bumper pool table& stand-alone pool table, arcade machine, pinball, chess table, puzzle table, multiple rooms with televisions, and free wireless internet access.

There are also many outdoor amenities, including lake front access, with advance notice a boat house for your use when bringing your own boat, an oversized lower and upper deck, outdoor kitchen (complete with a charcoal grill, gas fire table, natural gas grill, and natural gas griddle w/air fryer). You are welcome to use the kayak and paddle board, float mat, and life jackets at the property during your stay. We also have cornhole game and a large connect four games for you to enjoy.

The Decatur area offers local restaurants (Including lakefront restaurants), Devon Lakeshore amphitheater, (devonamphitheater.com), Scovill zoo, an overlook Adventure Park completes with mini-golf, batting cages, rope course, and waterpark.

Great place for large family

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for our family group of 13 people ages 15. Great space for an active family to gather inside and out to play cards, pool, darts, corn hole, and paddleboard. Nice to enjoy the beautiful weather on the deck and cooking/eating in the outdoor kitchen. Quick response from host on questions. Hope to return for our next son's graduation.

Family trip

It was a great space to meet up with our 3 kids and their families, all from different states! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and hang out spaces for everyone. Loved the large dining room table with plenty of seats and the out door eating area was amazing too. Delighted by the welcome bag and all the toiletries provided. Really had a great time down at the lake and in the hot tub. We enjoyed the games and just being together. Thanks!

Great weekend friend trip

Me and my friends stayed here for 3 nights and loved the house. The easy access to the lake was great. The pontoon boat available to rent is well worth the money as it is a very nice and newer boat. House was clean and much larger than it looks in the photos. Will definitely consider staying here again for our next lakehouse trip!

Super accommodations!!

This was probably the best house I have rented. There were plenty of beds and rooms. The kitchen was stocked amazingly! We cooked all our meals-including a Thanksgiving dinner! The bathrooms had all the things you may have forgotten to bring. The dock was fun to fish from. Just a super wonderful house. The hosts were very responsive with all my questions, and information I didn’t know I needed! Highly recommended!!

Wonderful house

This is our second year in a row staying at the lake house for our annual girls trip. Group of 13 women mid 30s to mid 40s. We love this house. We love working with the owners. AGD Reunion

This property had everything we could ever need and much more. The hosts were incredibly generous with extras in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. There is so much space inside and out that our large group had plenty of room to gather together or break off on our own. Celebrated Thanksgiving

Decatur is the half way point for us that live in a southwest suburb of Chicago and our Family from St. Louis… this house was perfect!! Family weekend at the lake

Our entire family had a great time during our weekend stay and we can’t wait to come back! The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable and full of amenities! My 70th Birthday

It was a family reunion and we also rented the pontoon boat. The house was like a maze and games ect was like a treasure hunt for family. The large deck overlooking lake decatur accommodated everyone easily. Loved it!

My family and I stayed here for our annual family reunion. We had a total of 10 adults and 2 toddlers. There was plenty of room for everyone to comfortably have their own bedroom. The house has a lot of games and designated room for movies and activities. The indoor and outdoor kitchen were great. The oven, outdoor grill, and blackstone all worked perfectly. We loved everything about this place and will be considering it again next year.

Celebrate Grandpa's birthday

The house was amazing, with beautiful views, and plenty for space for 7 grandchildren and 8 adults. The cooking and bathroom supplies were greatly appreciated. ☺️ The location was perfect for the children's zoo and museum with having 7 children 5 and under. The kids loved running around in the grass, some canoed with dad, playing the games, eating outside, and seeing the geese, ducks, and the boats. They all want to go back again so we can take the big boat. Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday with all our children and grandchildren.

Sans one Family Reunion

18 cousins gathered for a reunion with our 93 year old aunt for the first time in over two decades. Although only eight people stayed at the house, it was the perfect gathering spot for our large group. The deck, the dock, inside, outside - so much room to visit in small or large groups. And all the special extras Kenn and Wendy provided were above and beyond. They were attentive, responsive, and had gone the extra mile to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. We’re coming back again next year. I highly recommend this Lake House. It is 10+ + + +!

5 star experience

My family totally loved the experience in this lake home. The lake is a gem. I didn’t know what to expect, honestly. But it was a really nice, beautiful lake. Shockingly, boat traffic was light! On a major peak holiday—hard to believe! So that was a big plus. The pontoon boat was a real joy. (We brought a tube that was easy to attach to the boat…this was tons of fun). The dock area was a fun, play area to swim, play with floaties, fish, etc. My grandkids were ages 15-10. All had a blast! The home itself was big enough that all 12 of us were comfortable. The lower level had a big TV room, play room, and games galore that all enjoyed. The home is fully equipped with everything plus that would need. The owners are great communicators and you can tell they care about the quality and safety about their guests experience. There is a huge deck where we ate together, and a separate area for grilling that is outstanding. We would rate the whole experience and amenities an A. The home itself is a C—functional and clean. Do we wish we had a king bed , bigger bathrooms, less carpet, and no bridge traffic about 1/4 mile away, Yes. Bottom line: All my family members from 10 years old to 69, rated it 5 stars!

Couldn't Have Been Better!

Ken and Wendy have clearly been hosts for a long time as they have perfected their role to a science. We had nine friends staying at this property for four nights. These friends had/have careers traveling internationally, some live overseas now. we have all broad experience staying in a variety of hosted properties and business hotels. We all to a person could not find anything Ken and Wendy had not already thought of to prepare this property to feel welcoming, comfortable and efficient. From the Welcome Bag they arranged on arrival, to the readily available bathroom sundries, we needed only to fill the pantry and the fridge. Communication with Ken was seamless. He responded quickly and clearly to all my communications prior to our visit. There was never any need to contact him during our stay as all questions had been answered prior to our arrival, and literature posted for guests filled in the rest. My friends and I cannot speak highly enough of Ken and Wendy and this property.
