"We got upgraded to a bigger than normal room. The views out of the windows were great. The hotel sits at the top of a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. It is a very short walk to the downtown. The rooms are comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is very good."

"Would not stay here again. Staff was nice but hotel is just so-so. Bed looked lumpy which was the comforter and mattress was uncomfortable. Two lights flickered when turned on so it was sit in the dark or feel like your in a haunted house. The bathroom door would barely close, you had to slam it with all your weight for it to latch, no soap in the bathroom and shower had black discoloration around the bottom. "

"We really appreciate being able to check in late after a long drive. We’ve stayed here for several years during an annual trip to Lake Michigan & to see family. The breakfasts are beautiful. We always request a room looking into the trees. - it is a beautiful scene. The beds & pillows are the best. Highly recommended."

"The room was great except be careful in the shower. It was very slippery. I put a towel on the bottom which helped a little. "
