"John and Marge are wonderful hosts. Their home is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The kitchen had everything! The beds were comfortable and the pillows on the bed upstairs were perfection (need to buy). We had plenty of room to park our boat and could drive right to the launch within minutes. The deck was great, amazing views and very peaceful. We even saw a few fireworks on the 4th! We really enjoyed our stay and it was hard to leave. Highly Recommend this property!"
"This home is beautiful and tucked away in a woody neighborhood. It is spacious and well-appointed. I loved the view from all the balconies. You can see the water amongst all the trees. The home is well-loved and gorgeous. (meaning you can tell that it's not brand new, but that doesn't matter because it's very cool looking) I love that it's not a white and grey box. There were records to play and so many games available. The art on the wall is adorable. I only wish we'd had more time there. It's conveniently located to Deception Pass. It's far enough north of the military base that you aren't bothered by the planes on maneuvers. But we could see them as we drove north through Whidbey if that's something you'd like to see. I'd recommend it to anyone."
"We had a wonderful week. The view is amazing and the house is spacious. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful. There are a lot of jets from the nearby base. This was a plus for us because we love to watch them fly. But there is a lot of noise so it might not work for everyone. You can tell that a lot of thought was taken to decorate the property. There is a ping pong table in the basement that was a lot of fun. We discovered that the cabinet in the living room has all kinds of games a little too late. We had everything that we needed. There is both a keurig and a large coffee pot depending on your needs. The only thing that would make it perfect would be having a more accessible shower on the main floor. There is a claw foot tub that was a little difficult to climb in and out of. It’s a beautiful piece and fits the decor. Just not easy for everyone to use. There is a regular shower in the bedroom downstairs. Overall we would stay here again. "
"From the beautiful vistas through the picture windows to the garden patio with the fire pit, everything was perfect! Kingfisher Cover Hideaway felt private and tucked into the trees which provided views of birds and sea life. A great place to unwind and reconnect. We recommend it to anyone looking for that special place to make new memories! A wonderful place to spend our 30th Wedding Anniversary!"

"This house was absolutely breathtaking! Every space with a spectacular view! The kitchen was fully stocked, ready for making homemade meals. My kids loved the peacefulness it gave us! We are so happy to have stayed here and would love to return! I highly recommend it to all and it’s a wonderful reset to busy lives! "

"We really enjoyed our stay right on the water. Deer presentAlmost daily. Daughter was obsessed with finding sea glass and enjoyed her treasure hunt. As mentioned by others parking can be a challenge if both houses are rented but we really had no issues. Would stay again if in the area "
