Mistakes became learnings

Had a wonderful cozy stay at this cabin! The best part was the trail that followed the road. My kids loved the sunroom! I was initially hoping for a rental without WI-FI but my husband had to work and my kids are officially addicted so was happy to see that all amelrked out in the end. .

Wonderful Stay!

Absolutely picturesque property. The location is one of the hidden gems of the area, and the house itself is very conducive for family get togethers. Will be staying here again in the future when my family comes to town.

Older, but clean

Quiet with attentive and friendly management. The VRBO site said there was no WIFI, but we were happy they did. Pet friendly and our dog enjoyed it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there was no dishwasher.

The photos don't do this place justice!

We absolutely loved this place! It is spacious, the kitchen was awesome to cook in, although there is only 1 bathroom- it is really big! The cabin stayed cool through out entire stay, the beds were comfortable and it was so convenient- we felt secluded, but it was so easy to get in and out of town. Decorah was so fun and had so much to offer as well. I would absolutely stay in this place again, thank you for a great stay!

Graduation weekend

What a great little escape during the craziness of graduation weekend! We were able to grill out and have a quiet fire to relax before the festivities. Communication was prompt, property was clean.

Unique and Cozy

This place is advertised and more, the pictures didn't do it justice, it is more unique than even inspected with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the location and rest. We had some employees stay there from out of town and they were enquiring about bringing there families there at a later time. All were complimentary of the place.

Perfect getaway

Our best friend group of 9 stayed for a birthday weekend celebration and had the best time!! Perfect spot, close to town but private! Will definitely be back!

This property was beautiful and unique. It had plenty of beds for our large family. They front deck was relaxing the morning and the fire pit was at night. We enjoyed discovering the small hike and trails down the road. The washer and dryer came in handy for kids' muddy clothes after the day's adventures. One bathroom was a challenge at times. I would stay here again and recommend it to others as well

Great location, excellent communication with owners

The location of this property is great. On a gravel road that is not too busy, very peaceful at night to enjoy a campfire. Roomy yard for games. It is only a few minutes from town and about a mile to the Trout Trail path so riding bikes to the trail was easy. The cabin is roomy, as long as those sleeping upstairs dont mind the one room. The porch is great to hang out on along with a nice gas grill. One bathroom went better than I though it might for 7 people! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Stephanie was great to communicate with.

Pleasant cabin in the woods

We came to Decorah for hiking, biking, and breweries. This place was perfectly located for our activities and we seldom had to drive. The living areas were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the ability to view the NBA playoffs on the new tv.

Weekend trip

Stayed for 2 nights. Easy to find, with good location. It is a pet friendly house as the listing states, however I did not bring any pets and found dog hair all over the sheets and pillowcases in both beds that we used. There was dog hair all over the washer as well. The whole house was an overwhelming smell of febrease and wet dog. Would have preferred the smell of old house over that.

Home away from home

Repeat renter here. A great way to do Decorah. Love being out in the country but just around the corner to civilization. House has everything you'll need. Cool design and layout. Tons of space. Family really enjoyed the stay.

Quiet location, close to Downtown Decorah

As former residents of Decorah, it is always great to come back. We really enjoyed the quiet location on Twin Springs Road. We hiked the trails every day and visited our favorite restaurants and shops. A bonus to Twin Springs Lodge is they are pup-friendly so we did not need to board our dog for the extended weekend.

Luther Family Weekend

My son, his family and myself came to Decorah for Luther Family Weekend and we had a blast! This cabin was plenty big enough for the 7 of us -- we were a bit concerned w/only one bath, but it wasn't an issue at all. We took walks in the morning and it was such a beautiful setting. Plenty of dishes, towels, etc. We enjoyed the weekend very much.
