"Overall was good. Staff was good; Very friendly & accommodating. Swimming pool & hot tub should have been out front — no view to see bay. FYI, although growth is good — construction of new water park was a sore eye to see bay. Not enough food choices. Good thing boardwalk closes at 10/9. The bang game was loud to have room by. "

"The breakfast setup felt restrictive, with staff serving items like bacon, sausage, and eggs from behind a counter rather than allowing guests to help themselves. Additionally, despite the hotel listing stating there is a laundry facility, there isn’t one available on-site—so if you need to do laundry, you’re out of luck. On a positive note, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is perfectly adequate. However, use caution in the pool area—the edges are very jagged, and I ended up getting cut. Overall, those were the main highlights and concerns from my stay. "

"Musty smell in room, towels seemed old and smelled funny. We arrived late so lobby door is locked, I get it for security! When I rang doorbell man who came to door seemed bothered spoke through a thick glass and I couldn’t hear him because of traffic noise outside. Hotel sits right off highway."

"This hotel was perfect! It was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was great. And it was conveniently located about a 5-minute drive from both NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk (both of which my 9 year old loved)."

"Horrible experience. It wound up being a VRBO and the contact refused to answer any communications. I was stranded in the parking lot for 5 hours and finally got the rental canceled. Neither Expedia, VRBO or the owner were very helpful. Each one waited their hands of the ordeal instructing me to contact the other. Once they had the payment they could care less if i had a place for my daughter and infant grandchild. Again. Horrible experience. I've vowed never to rent a VRBO again and only using Expedia when o have few other options. Hope you work on making your customer service an actual service one day. "

"Casa Verde was an excellent choice for our trip to Clear Lake Shores. The house was so nice and clean, with a well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, fast internet. We loved the outdoor living area with various seating options, outdoor TV and fire pit. As a couple escaping the cold weather, we used this area daily. The bikes provided allowed us to explore the island and get exercise while enjoying Clear Lake, the canals, various birds and the beautiful marina. And Casa Verde has it's own bench by the water to sit and watch boats go by. Walking or biking to the numerous restaurants so close to the property was not only convenient, but the diverse options were enjoyable. We contacted the host several times for various issues (locked out/TV issue) and got an immediate response and gracious prompt assistance. When we travel we always try to stay in a home vs hotel and we appreciated the book left by the host with the rules, where to locate items, how to check out and suggestions for entertainment. We do not have children, but there were many games, books and outdoor activities available. We have stayed in the area on prior trips, but Casa Verde provided a perfect escape in a terrific location, making us feel at home. "

"Pets were welcome but there was only a tiny back yard. The area was outstanding. Very quiet, wonderfully friendly neighbors, and yes I would stay again."
