"Booked to stay here for 2 nights after reading the reviews and we are so glad we did. From the moment we checked in and being greeted in the lounge with a drink and then being escorted to our room was such a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and we wished we could have just stayed here for the 2 days and relaxed but we had plans in Knysna and Plettenberg. We had dinner in Zinzi and thoroughly enjoyed it and the breakfast was very good. The best thing about Hunters is their staff though. I wish I had made a note of all the names but Golli who greeted us was so lovely as was Ace when we had drinks by the firepit. Our breakfast waitress was amazing too but I did not get her name. We will definitely be back as loved the place. "

"Fabulous hotel and top shelf service. We were greeted at the door, escorted to the bar/salon seating area to have a glass of bubbly while doing the checkin process in comfort. We were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade and our bags were in our beautiful room when we got there. The room was large and comfortable. Bed and linens were perfect. Breakfast was a choice of hot or a buffet, or both...but all amazing. Staff were all professional, but very warm and welcoming. I recommend this hotel very highly. "

"i liked how quaint the video place was! the our place was beautiful and i loved being able to walk around the property. the only note i had was there were a few ants during my stay but it didn’t bother me. "

"Wish we had been able to stay another night as we loved this place so much. It's in such a beautiful spot with spectacular views over the bay. Reception staff were all so friendly and welcoming and we had a fantastic dinner in the on-site restaurant that night with great customer service too. Worth noting, there is a fairly long and steep hill to the shops/cafes/restaurants in the town so if you had mobility issues that may be a problem (unless you were driving)."
