"Got in around 6pm and had a warm welcome from Kevin, the owner. Very pleasant setting and very quiet. We stayed in a family cabin with bunk bed for kids. Their room got very toasty overnight with the heat set around 70F because we had their door closed. The whole place was so clean and well-stocked with kitchen dishes and utensils, even some coffee in case you forget to bring your own. Their was virtually no sound besides the trees, the occasional deer walking past, and the distant river all night. The gas stove is the old style that will flow gas without being lit, so make sure your kid doesn't turn a burner on for several hours like our kid did!"

"My family is from the San Luis Valley. I've been coming down here my whole life and never stayed at this hotel one we always stayed with family. This year I really wanted to see what it was like and we were not disappointed. The staff was super helpful and the service was great. The showed new movies, two screens the first you can watch from your room but to hear the other you literally have to drive into the drive in. Which we thought was great. Thank you for the great breakfast in the morning as well. We will be back!!😁"

Side note, I don't remember seeing on the description that it is a working cattle ranch. That may be a detail that would influence one's decision. All in all, great stay!"
