"Just what me and my two boys needed for our short ski weekend. Very efficient little apartment with well equipped kitchen. So close to Belleayre and very nice welcome from the host."

"Lots of good things about this place. Breakfast was good, room was cozy and clean, tv worked, heat worked, bed comfortable, staff was very nice, games and dvds available and coffee all day. But a couple things not good. There was knocking, banging settling, maybe the pipes? Don’t know but all night long it was very noisy and one more night I’m not sure I could stand it. The other negative is the bathroom which is small. The sad part is that it could have been better designed within the small space. When you sit on the toilet your knees are under the sink, yet if they had installed the toilet a few inches to the right it would be fine. There’s no place to put any toiletries and if they had raised the mirror there would be a perfect place for a small shelf. They have shelves but they are decorative rather than usable. Also in the shower no place to put the soap or shampoo except the floor."

"Highly recommend, had a lovely stay. Clean property, rooms are nice, the brewery on site is a bonus. Had live music when we stayed on Saturday evening, good food and drinks. Area surrounded by nature, quiet and relaxing."

"Wonderful getaway—very relaxing and peaceful, especially during the off-season. The staff was incredible—so friendly, welcoming, and fun. The restaurant exceeded our expectations; we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious. We had a great time spending time in the lodge—playing pool and games, relaxing by the fireplace, and taking in the beautiful grounds. Our room was lovely and very comfortable."

"Staff was great. My 3 star rating is only because there were no sign ups left when arriving for the 3PM check-in. Without this, for the sauna or infrared room; it leaves you to be "stealing time" where you can..(also feels a bit absurd for the rate you pay.) I had to scramble out of one solo sauna after first finding it empty, because a couple had booked it, and they told me they were also booked for the infrared (double dipping also leaves others without.) Feels unfair for another guest to contend with this. I used the "unscheduled" sauna by the pool, as suggested, which was pretty much always either in use, or had to be shared, ( in concept this is fine for me--but again, would have been nice if I had an opportunity to book my own time, to actually get that.) Food was fantastic. Kitchen has it going on. Although there was no coffee left after my sauna at 9:30AM, I asked & they very nicely got me a cup:) Pool is essential. There's also a hole in the floor of the cabin where the ac duct has to go out, but has an ill fit; I would suggest to property to consider customizing a small plug/screen/something around the duct there (so critters can't just climb in) and it would be a nice detail touch.. I will solve most of this next time by getting a bigger room & arriving earlier. I just worry that's part of the push (buy bigger, spend more.) Loved the meditation hut & apart from these details, had a very lovely time overall, thank you! "

"We were thrilled with our stay at Rainbow Hill Road. We came to the Catskills to visit our son who lives 10 miles away. The cabin was just perfect for us, our daughter, and our dog. It was the perfect amount of space to have our son and girlfriend join us for dinner or breakfast. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked a lot! If you plan to buy local and cook a few meals like we did, I’d suggest purchasing some Tupperware upon arrival. We found everything we needed in the way of staples at Freshtown, and added in cheeses, meats, bread, butter, yogurt, milk, eggs and produce from local farms. We covered a lot of geography and loved meeting local farmers. We knew that being there in “off season” that a lot of things would be closed, but this location is close enough to Margaretville, Andes, and Delhi to find a few shops of interest. There are many hiking trails and also skiing nearby! The beds were super comfortable and the linens were high quality, something we really appreciate. The hosts provided all the firewood we needed and even had tethers for the dog to explore the back yard without escaping into the hillside after the deer. The setting was amazing…we were fortunate to have some days with snow and some without, to experience the setting both ways. Due to the weather we didn’t really benefit from the fire pit or BBQ grill, but maybe next time. Our hosts were so gracious and responsive. I will rebook here without a doubt next time we visit again! "
