Didn't have good experience with front desk staff for check-in and check-out. Check-in person offered an upgrade to a room with views, however, the room was facing another property under construction and there were no views. Check-out person took forever because they didn't have clear & correct paperwork and she couldn't figure it out; made us late to airport and almost missed our flight. Rooms are dated and bed covers were dirty with stains. Steam room, sauna and pool are really good.

The biggest positive of this hotel is its location. It is very conveniently located close to Connaught Place and within easy reach of many of Delhi’s major tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the stay itself did not quite match expectations. The room felt extremely small, despite the website listing it as approximately 431 sq. ft. The property also feels quite dated. The wooden flooring creaks noticeably when you walk, and even the bed makes sounds when you turn during the night, which can be quite annoying. Breakfast was also an experience. The buffet was extremely crowded in the morning, and we had to wait around 20 minutes in a queue before getting in. Overall, this hotel works well if location is your main priority, but considering the room size, ageing property, noise and crowded breakfast experience, I expected a more comfortable stay.

What a nice find. previously I stayed at the Shangri-La hotel and I thought that was great until I checked into my room at Lalit. Dollar for Dollar, your buck goes further at the Lalit hotel then at other competitions hotels. The rooms are much larger, the breakfast buffet was good as was the staff. I extended my stay here.

I stayed here with my partner for a few days to explore New Delhi and we loved the Lalit. It was a great hotel that was centrally located in New Delhi so we had easy access to a lot of our sites. The on-site food was varied and very good and was our go-to for breakfast. I would happily stay here again!

Love that this hotel is totally inclusive. I will recommend to all friends who value inclusion who are visiting Delhi. Also love that it is roughly 10 min walking by foot from CP. So easy to get to shopping areas!
