"Staff overall pleasant however heads up early checkins really only an option when asking ahead. My room was great and comfy. Be advised if you haven't drove you will need public transport or a taxi to get into center but they are both easy to use. I would recommend."

"All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. Despite the room not having been planned for use, everything was clean and fully stocked which was impressive. Bed extremely comfy, didn't want to leave! Breakfast being included was great, good choice of hot food options plus offered hot drinks, juices and water; everything was fresh and delicious. We'll be back as hadn't realised they stopped serving food at 5pm on a Sunday so didn't get to try the pheasant dish from their weekly specials menu I'd been looking forward to but ideally placed for other restaurants, pubs and bars (would The Hoptimist next door for craft ale and very friendly service) "
