Cozy Waterfront Cottage- Reel Time

Reel Time is a cozy blue waterfront cottage and will make time fly. Inside, is an open floor plan on the main floor. The main floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and one full bathroom. The living area has a recliner and a sofa that has 2 recliners built in. There is a fully functioning kitchen, a table to sit at, and an island that is great for food prep and people can sit around as well. By the kitchen and Living areas go out the French doors out to a large deck with beautiful views of the water. We also have a table out on the deck to eat and hang out at. The second-floor loft has another queen bed with bathroom, walk-in closet, and has view of the water from the large upper windows. There is a walkout basement with laundry area and a cool tv/hangout room. The cottage also has high speed wireless internet. The sofa in the tv room also pulls out to a queen bed for extra sleeping. Outside, you can loose track of time….if you have kids there is a giant sandbox that will keep them busy for hours. We have a few sand toys located in patio area for the sandbox. Kayaks and paddle boat available to enjoy on the water. We also have a pontoon boat available at an additional cost. Please ask if interested. There are a total of 4 lakes connected by channels for hours of exploring and fishing. We also have beavers and bald eagles on the lakes See if you can find their nests and dams or the trees they chop down. Back on land, after enjoying the day on the water, fire up the blackstone grill for supper. Enjoy a game of bags (corn hole) before relaxing by fire pit, gazing at the fire and the gorgeous water views while eating s’mores. We even have a outdoor hangout area for you to enjoy and a second refrigerator for beverages and/or extra food. If you are still outside as the night quiets down be prepared for the symphony from nature (bullfrogs and crickets).

If you want to venture out from the cottage there are many local activities that can be enjoyed by all. Below are just a few of them...

Relaxation

This was our second time staying at Brenda’s Vrbo. Like our first visit, our stay was great from checking in to checking out. We’ll definitely continue to stay here!

Awesome 4th of July Vacation!

We had such a wonderful vacation! The house was super clean, modern and had everything we needed! We swam, kayaked, had campfires, watched fireworks, played cornhole and did lots of fishing from the pontoon boat! The owners were so helpful and very responsive! We would love to come stay here again!

Cute Lake House

The house was very cute and clean. We enjoyed the garage bar area. It was a great space to spend time during some of our rainy weather. We loved the kayaks and the lake was very peaceful and quiet. We also loved the grill and firepit area. Cute house with everything you need!

Perfect Getaway

My family stayed at this cottage Mid October. The weather was rainy majority of the time but waking up in this beautiful location was a wonderful trade off. My boys especially loved downstairs and the blocks provided for play. The property was super clean, the house was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend staying here!

A pleasant stay

Great setting right on the lake. The house was clean, contemporary, and supplied with all essentials. We were able to get out and spend time in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. Despite the fall weather we had a perfect day to take kayaks out on the lake and explore. A perfect place to relax or get out and about. Brenda, the owner, was very pleasant and responsive to all our questions. A must stay.

Gorgeous home with lots of fun amenities

My family and I enjoyed our stay so very much. I am a clean freak in this house, met my standard, which isn’t often. Brenda was extremely responsive when I had questions. We had so much fun on the lake in the paddle boat and kayak. The sun coming in through the window is amazing.

Lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The chain of lakes is lovely and peaceful, and the house and yard is top notch. A few suggestions for future updates and comfort of guests: clean out the paddle boat before guests arrive; an umbrella for the table on the top deck so that there’s a place to get out of the sun; screens in the front door and doorwall to deck to open the doors for fresh air in the house. Overall we had a great time and excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Family fun

We had a great time here. The house / property was clean, cozy, decorated well, and had all the things we needed for our stay. Brenda is a great host and was always responsive. The garage hangout is real cool , nice decor in there as well. This house was perfect for my family and we especially loved having the 4 kayaks and paddle boat. We rented the pontoon boat also which was lots of fun. The only con is the lake water is not good for swimming. We made a lot of great memories here ! Highly recommend this for your next lake house vacation.

Lakefront Cottage Christmas

We came to celebrate Christmas in Delton. Upon arrival we were delightfully surprised to enter what felt like our Christmas home. The host had decorated for Christmas with multiple Christmas trees and decorations. The cottage was clean with comfortable beds, and plenty of areas for the family to enjoy Christmas. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Highly recommend staying here. we look forward for future says here. Thank you.

Christmas cottage

Our daughter recently moved up to Michigan and due to her work schedule, she couldn't come home for Christmas. Therefore, we decided to bring Christmas to her. Although I was apprehensive at first about doing this. I found this cottage where someone had mentioned that it was decorated for Christmas and it was very clean. Two things that I was looking for. It did not disappoint. The home was clean, decorated for Christmas, cozy and the kitchen was wonderful for preparing our holiday meal. I would definitely go back and choose this cottage. The views of the lake and the property were an ideal setting. I'm sure it is absolutely lovely in the summer too!

Very peaceful

We had a lovely trip and only wish we could have stayed a few more days! The location is very serene, peaceful, quiet. We stayed during the week and barely saw any neighbors (though had a few very friendly chats with the guy next door), so we almost felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves and the swan family that we saw all day everyday! Our 3 and 7 yo had a blast playing in the sand and shore, swimming, fishing off the dock, paddle boating, making S’mores on the fire pit every night, and losing to Mommy and Daddy at bags. The basement was a great hang out spot for movie night and games. Brenda was very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a great trip to recharge before the school year starts!

Cozy cottage

Came here for my birthday weekend with a few girl friends. It was perfect for getting some sun by the water, movie nights, and game night. Such a beautiful house. Bedrooms kitchen etc was all perfect. My kids came to visit one day and they loved the beach and sand box area. I would absolutely stay here again. We even met the owners and they were fabulous! They even drove all the way out there with an item we needed. Only thing I would add is (and maybe we just didn’t see one) was a broom! Had 2 vacuums we couldn’t quite figure out but a broom would have been perfect to sweep up some sand etc before we headed out! 10/10 recommend this place!

Perfect local lake house

The house was just as beautiful, even more actually, in person as it was in the listing. We stayed for the weekend for our daughters 13th birthday. This kind of house is just her style and she absolutely loved it! We brought 2 of her friends with us. The Kayaks, paddle boat, corn hole game, garage hangout and just the overall space was perfect for keeping the kids busy and is as well. The house is perfectly stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of outdoor furniture as well. The view is amazing. We loved having a dock to bring our own boat as well. You all just did a fabulous job with the lay out of the house and for the decks and outdoors. We loved that there was a blackstone. We cooked all our meals on it this weekend. We had a problem with the vacuum system and Greg came right out to look at it. Communication with Brenda was easy and quick. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back. Thanks for allowing us to give our daughter the best surprise birthday weekend and last family trip before they head back to school.

We loved our stay at this charming cottage. A great spot to stay for our visit to the Gilmore Car Museum. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The hosts were very easy to work with, and quickly responded to and resolved a small issue that we had. Will definitely keep this property in mind for a stay in the future!

Nice place! Very clean and comfortable. The lake water was extremely low due to lack of rain in the area so we didn’t use the kayaks, but we really enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of the lake. All other amenities were nice including the Blackstone grill and washer & dryer. Communication with Brenda was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
