Enjoyed my stay at the Akaya. Special shoutout to GM Made, who managed to clarify and resolve an issue on a sudden restriction of water supply to my room. Thank you for your professionalism and patience! Location is excellent with easy access to shops, spas, and if you dive, check out the dive shop in the property as well. Highly recommended stay!

Akaya Bali is a lovely hotel in the middle of Sanur. The location was perfect for exploring the town. Beach access was just across the road. Great spas, nail salons, restaurants all within 3 min walk. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The associated cafe for breakfast and other dining options was great as well.

Washstand in room 102 cannot hold water for washing. And water runs too strong and shatters all over. This was only one negative thing that I found.

Perfect stay! The location is fantastic with direct access to the main street with many shops and restaurants around, but still very quiet oasis once you walk inside! All staff is lovely and very helpful to organize all your activities and transfer. The rooms are clean with comfy beds and beautiful swimming pool a few steps away.. Breakfast was delicious and you can enjoy it in Akaya Cafe or in the cosy terrace, sharing with the hotel on the 2nd floor since the construction is finished. I can honestly recommend Akaya Bali Hotel for your stay in Sanur!

Property was great, 7-10 minute walk to the beach walk. More notably than anything was the staff. Maria at the front desk was nothing short of exceptional. Not only did she take time to help me whenever I needed anything, I saw her go way above and beyond to help several other guests with questions about the area to accomodations request. During my check in she was polite and very very knowledgeable. I also saw her handle some not so nice guests with incredible grace and poise, why she is working the front desk and not helping manage is a waste of talent. The other staff were amazing as well but can only speak on what I experienced and observed. Breakfast here was amazing. Location although not on the beach front was in a great location.

The property is currently under construction 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm, it's loud and a major distraction from the usual peace and quiet exspected when staying in Sanur. It's a great small hotel with wonderfull staff, I would avoid until construction is completed and that looks like it will be at least another 3 months out.

Look, it was in a great location and perfect for what I needed in terms of my stay in Sanur, however, the property itself isn't something I would hang around in. While nothing wrong with it generally, it's more of the design. The rooms are small and slightly dated compared to the photos, the balcony overlooks the pool but it isn't private as it's a long open balcony shared by everyone. The pool is small, all the rooms overlook the pool and limited loungers. It's in a great location! One block back from the esplanade and within walking distance to everything you could possibly need. Sanur is beautiful. I walked no more than 10 mins to have a beautiful and affordable breakfast on the esplanade and a cocktail on the rooftop of the expensive resort for happy hour! I would stay here again if my intention was to spend most of my time exploring Seminyak and eating out.

So satisfied with reasonable price

I stayed here for 4 days, including Nyepi day. During here, I was so satisfied staying. 1. Nice staffs People working here are so kind and good at english. I felt really comfortable. 2. Nice facilities(compared to expense) I got really clean room, and balcony, and nice swimming pool that enoughly enjoy and practice snorkling(some point was 2m deep) 3. Awesome food and prepared for Nyepi day Food was really good and reasonable. Especially, beef burger was so good... I missed it already! During Nyepi day, they let me pre-order meals and there was no any inconvenience. I could enjoy silence day and saw many stars(though cloudy)!! ah, also they are located near main street. I will definitely stay again here if I come back to bali and sanur. Terima kasih, all the staff of Akaya Bali!!!

ホテルというよりもB&Bという感じで、他のホテルのようにソファなどのくつろげる場所はなく、部屋はほぼ寝室です。お水も他のホテルのようにミネラルウォーターのボトルではなく、ウォーターサーバーから自分で汲む感じ。 ですが、サービスがアットホームでとても素敵でした。サービスの欧米化が進む中、バリ島らしい温かい接客があり、次回があればぜひまたこちらを利用したいです。 ランドリーサービスも当日仕上げてくれます。ウェルカムフルーツもとっても美味しかったです。

Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Maria is the first person we met and she gave a fabulous welcome. Highly recommend this place to friends who travel solo because it is so safe. The pool is so relaxing,the bathroom toiletries are great quality and we slept so well in the comfortable bed. Breakfast was good too.Very pleas we chose Akaya to end our holiday on a high note
