First, they were able to change our room to king size bed as we requested, which sounds nice. However, the new room did not have as good ocean view as the first one and it wasn't as clean. But the main problem was the closet door kept coming off (3 times) and almost hurt my wife and 6-year old daughter.

Very friendly staff, excellent location. There was however some noise during the morning due to maintenance (hammer). Housekeeping did come in to refresh the room with towels and water bottles even when the don’t disturb sign was visible. Nice property overall.

If you are travelling and want an airport hotel this is okay it’s incredibly busy takes a long time for room Service to come the lifts were broken - for a big hotel out of four lifts there was only two. I had to walk up the stairs quite a bit and I was on the 10th floor when the staff did reach out they were very good and flexible and accommodating to help you -

We loved this hotel, staff were so friendly. The check-in process was lovely, the entrance is really quite an experience. We were upgraded to the suite, which was spacious and well equipped. The view to the sea was just beautiful, make an effort to see the sunrise, it’s wonderful. The breakfast really was 5* so much choice and always refreshed, and freshly cooked. It really was a very good breakfast. The location was a little further up the beach, but having taken out a bike and cycled the whole beach area, we felt that we were not missing out on anything. It’s about a 10min walk to the icon mall, and there are many choices of eateries around the hotel, head out the back for a more authentic choice. Pool is busy and people do reserve sun beds before they go for breakfast, so can get very busy. But the pool was clean and very large.. The beach opposite is really very beautiful and well maintained, lots of local sellers along the beach front too, which was great to see and support. Overall a fab hotel and beautiful part of Bail, but just to say, if you are looking for culture, in comparison to Ubud, this area is much more commercialised, however the locals have integrated with the tourists and you can really embrace their culture through food stalls and Warung’s… They are wonderful friendly people, and I miss their positive spirt…

10/10 – A Wonderful Stay in Sanur From the very first moment I walked in, I felt incredibly well looked after. The staff were fantastic — everyone was exceptionally polite, kind and helpful. They made a genuine effort to remember my name and were always patient when explaining everything, from the hotel itself to recommendations and information about the surrounding area. The concierge team were wonderful with my luggage and took such great care of me throughout my stay. As a solo traveller, I particularly appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness shown towards anything I might need. I felt completely safe, comfortable and cared for at all times. The property itself is beautiful, very clean and thoughtfully maintained. My room was also incredibly quiet, which was particularly important to me, and I always felt very secure. I also attended the Kecak dance ceremony during my stay, which was absolutely beautiful and something I would highly recommend experiencing. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel is perfectly positioned along the beachfront promenade, making it easy to walk, explore and really enjoy the atmosphere and spirit of Sanur. The harbour is also very close, which makes the hotel extremely convenient if you fancy taking a day trip to one of the nearby islands. Overall, a genuinely lovely experience. Thoughtful hospitality, wonderful people, a beautiful property and an excellent location. 10 out of 10.

We booked the Bali beach hotel and were surprisingly upgraded to a suite at the meri hotel. Wow!! What a room! The only hotel I can compare it to is the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The staff, rooms, amenities, food and service were outstanding. Yoga and Thai chi classes were included and the gym was way better than most hotels. I highly recommend the Meru. Thank you to the staff for welcoming us and the upgrade. We will be back. Terima kasih 🙏
