"Although building works currently taking place, with no impact on my stay other than slightly trickier with parking, I was able to park nearby & enjoyed a great stay at this hotel, with a superb meal and great choice of drinks. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially when I checked in."

"Check in was completed by a friendly Australian young man and a very friendly local lady. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue - no fridge, but a minor issue. Great location-short walk to the many local pubs which were fabulous for drinks and food. Short walk across the bridge to the church and castle as well as the oldest pub - Sean's Bar. Had a great time."

"Staff was very helpful and friendly but this is far from a 4 star hotel. Rooms and common spaces are very dated. One of the beds in our room was lopsided from wear and in the bathroom the toilet tissue is in a dispenser like in a public toilet. "

"I wanted ground floor unit due to 2 people having mobility issues. sent property a request for this with no reply. arrived to be told on 2nd level with stairs as the only access. asked if we could change to ground level & told no sorry. This made our stay difficult for the ones navigating the stairs with their mobility issues "
