"Great price for a large room in beautiful North Hobart. The room was quiet (just some sounds coming from outside on Saturday night) and quite clean (some used bottles left in the fridge and a couple of small dead insects in the bathroom). Staff was very nice and wifi worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend it!"

"The location is right across from the port, so it's great. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The sound-proof was less than idea. The guest acrossa the hall from our room was drank that night. He spoke loudly for a long time outside his room, and we heard every word. "

"The staff (particularly front desk) were fantastic and could not have done more to be helpful and entertaining. Our room (a superior one) was dark and did not have enough light either natural or lighting. The bathroom was great, modern but in the style of the hotel. The carpets were worn and didn’t give the best impression. Bar is popular early, but don’t expect a nightcap after 10 - even at weekends. Location is great and history is fascinating. Not sure it was worth over $300 a night excluding breakfast though. "
