Charming old school motel rooms with a chandelier and a bed frame with attached side tables lol. Handy that it was near a bus stop. Only thing about the rooms is that they have very old heaters that take a few hours to heat the room. Friendly staff

Top marks for a spacious & absolutely clean room furnished with 1950s charm, down to the smallest detail. It's value for money, no question. There's piping hot water and good shower pressure. The shower is over the bath but there's a handrail & anti slip mat. Parking is good. My 2 issues were a bed with a mattress that was way too soft a microwave that had such a death rattle I didn't use it for fear of waking my neighbours. Overall, I'm pleased I chose Mayfair. Staff couldn't have been better.

The staff were very helpful and easily arranged a late check in for me. My room was a great size, very comfortable, a spa bath and views of Mt Wellington! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Hobart, especially if you have a car as they have onsite parking.

We had the Spa Suite which was lovely -- antique furniture & decor, fridge, microwave and very generous size. Convenient location on the bus line near restaurants. Very quiet as well.
