"It was a wonderful holiday, more experience than luxury with all the family together. Interesting that the final question about reasonable price did not apply for our holiday as it would have been more reasonable if all cost was evenly allocated but on this occasion was picked up by one person which of course impacted on how we could answer."

"Beautifully restored hotel. Was the palace of justice. Great view of a lovely historic city. Rooms lovely with good decor and fittings. Although a good choice at breakfast , very slow to replenish and clear. Free parking right in front of hotel. Some staff seemed a little under trained."

"Nous avons réservé le domaine pour un week-end, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Angelina.Les lieux sont propres et très bien équipés. En cas de problème, le gardien et les propriétaires sont très réactifs.Nous sommes particulièrement satisfaits de notre séjour à la Retardière."

"This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are a number of places to eat within walking distance but don't expect any fine dining. We ate at the Asian 'all you can eat' buffet which was excellent and just 500m away. It was easy to find, just off the main motorway and accepted our dogs for a very small supplement. We will use this hotel again if we are passing. "
