Cozy Condo at Sandpiper Cove/ pool and golf view

Updated Condo in Sandpiper Cove, which is a guard gated 43 acre resort with 1100 feet of private beach. We have stocked it as our second home and are excited to share it with you. This upper unit overlooks the 9th hole of the FREE 9 hole par 3 golf course, and one of the 5 swimming pools. We have tried to add everything we could think of to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. From the new (2024) King bed in the private bedroom, a new (2022) very upgraded queen sofa mattress and there is a washer and dryer inside the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/ utensils and appliances. There is an icemaker in the refrigerator and also filtered water on the sink. The outside closet is full of beach/ tennis and golf items for your use. Including a wagon to tote it all to the beach. On each window you have the option of closing the black out curtains or have all of the beautiful Destin sunlight coming in that you could want. The deck offers a table and chairs for that morning coffee or evening night cap. Plenty of storage areas to unpack and make yourself at home. This is a no pet, smoking or vaping unit.

Please note: limited basic soaps and toilet paper are available, however, you may need more. Please bring your own beach towels, the unit does not supply beach towels.

Please note that our unit is located toward the back part of the golf course, which will make it a bit longer walk to the beach. If you choose to drive there is gated parking at the beach entrance.

We loved staying at Sandpiper Cove in Destin! The condo was clean and had everything our family needed! The amenities were great and our kids loved golfing, tennis, swimming, and being walking distance to the beach. Would definitely come back again!

I took my daughter to Destin for spring break. The condo was exactly as advertised; nicely updated and very clean. Sandpiper Cove is a nice complex. We played the par 3 golf course 4 times during our stay and swam in the pool just outside of the unit. The unit is in the back of the complex, so the walk to the beach was about a 5-10 minute walk. We did that once, then found it easier to drive and park in the provided lot since we had chairs and umbrellas. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return again.

My family of 4 spent 3 nights here to celebrate the end of the school year. The booking process was easy and clear. The communication was stellar. The size of the property was perfect for us (me, my husband, two school age children). Everything was so clean. The location was perfect. The pool was right outside. My husband says we will be back. This is a big deal because he hates staying away from home! We had the best time here!

Condo was spotless clean and exactly as advertised. King size bed was so comfortable, best ever, with great curtains to block out sunlight. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook a few meals in. Items provided in activity closet made the experience spectacular. Only negative is the road noise due to the proximity to the highway during peak hours (5:30am - 10:00pm). Lisa was super responsive.

My husband and I stayed for the first time here a week ago and absolutely LOVED it! The condominium is beautifully updated and was super clean. She just had new windows/sliding door installed and it looks awesome! Everything you need, that condo has! We were able to use the umbrella, beach chairs, cooler, and easily tote it with the beach wagon. We also were able to cook several meals, so it also has all kitchen gadgets including a coffee pot and even a single cup Keurig. This place has such a cool view, we had our coffee on the balcony where we could watch golfers and people enjoy the pool. Sand Piper Cove overall is a beautiful place with a very nice restaurant on the grounds within walking distance and valet parking if you don't want to walk. It is a gated community with a guard there 24hrs so its very safe. Right across the street, is the private beach with a little bar to get beach snacks and drinks. Its also conveniently located to grocery stores and fun attractions. Lisa (the owner) is great, she kept in touch with us, made check-in a breeze and was available if needed during our stay. We already can't wait to go back, we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be staying here again!

We were looking to spend about a week in Destin, FL and we came across Lisa's property right after she posted it as a new listing on VRBO. We contacted her and she was very prompt in replying and very accomodating, especially considering the last minute dates we had picked. Lisa stayed connected with us throughout the booking and check in process as well as check out process, all of which went very smooth. When we arrived at the property, everything was as described and as pictured on VRBO. We truly enjoyed spending our week at Lisa's place - it had everything we needed and wanted: private beach access, gated entry, multiple pools to choose from, tennis courts, golf, and close proximity to Crab Island and Harbor, as well as grocery stores, coffee shops (highly recommend Capriccio Italian coffee) and restaurants near by. It also had fully stocked kitchen (with filtered water available), balcony with seating and a sleeper sofa. Outside closet was stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, tennis racquets and golf equipment, as well as a wagon - all of which was very handy. The interior of the unit was very inviting, clean and well- appointed. Even thou it is a 1 bedroom only unit, it worked out perfect for the 3 of us, as the living room sofa turns into a queen size bed and the bathroom is a nice size with large tub. Both sofa bed and king size bed in bedroom had very comfortable mattresses. We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay at Lisa's property again! The only thing we regret is that we couldn't stay longer...Thank you Lisa for opening up your condo to us! We had a phenomenal time and are looking forward to coming back some day, hopefully soon :) FYI : - there is a restaurant on site (we havent tried it, but it has amazing views) - there is water taxi operating from the restaurant that can take you to the Harbor for a fee - for those wondering about the proximity to the beach from the unit- it is definitely walkable, altough the unit is located towards the back of the property. We walked to the beach and back each time with no problem (but we do normally walk a lot). However, if you're not into walking, you can drive your car into the private parking at the beach (provided there is a spot available). - parking for the unit is not reserved (its on first come, first serve basis), but we did not encounter any issues finding a spot during our stay. - bring extra paper towel, toilet paper and toiletries just in case.

We had a wonderful vacation at Destin! The cozy condo was exactly as described and cute as it appeared online! We enjoyed the white sand and blue water of the Gulf of Mexico while sitting in the provided beach chairs as well as enjoying basking in the sun by a heated pool! The condo campus security was an added feature also! It was a smooth check in and out process too! Definitely recommend the Cozy Condo if you are going to Destin!

We have been to Destin a couple of times. This time we decided to stay closer to the harbor and make it girls only instead of the whole family. The size of the unit was great. It was just what we needed for a short stay. The unit was super clean and had many features that made it special and functional, such as the beach closet, the washer and dryer, and simple things like a blow dryer in the bathroom. The condo is on the side furthest from the beach, but it was a short walk to the private beach. The beach had restrooms and a restaurant, which enabled us to stay at the beach for as long as we wanted each day. There many restaurants in close driving distance, and Destin Harbor with all if activities was five minutes away. Lisa was fabulous to work with! Overall a great experience!
