The condo itself was clean, nice, and exactly what we needed for our stay in Destin. Unfortunately, we had to evacuate less than 24 hours after arriving due to Hurricane Isaias, which understandably disrupted our trip.Communication had been good up until the evacuation, but the follow-up regarding a possible refund has been disappointing. After initially not receiving a response to my inquiry, I followed up again and was told that management would reach out the following week. When I still hadn’t heard anything within seven days, I reached out once more and was then told I would need to contact management in Destin myself.I understand that unexpected circumstances like hurricanes can create challenges, but I would have appreciated more consistent communication and clearer guidance throughout this process. While the condo itself was nice, the way this situation has been handled so far has been frustrating and disappointing. I hope management will follow up and work toward a fair resolution.Also just a minor issue but the hot water didn’t work in the kitchen.
