"There’s no other option to stay overnight in Sparta except the Allegheny Inn. It’s nothing special and the bathrooms are really small so if you’re heavyset, you might wanna ask for a a room with a larger bathroom the sheets were clean, but there was a stain and there was some hair in the drain of the bathtub that was not mine.! there was coffee in the lobby but only powdered creamer. It’s not pet friendly so no no pets allowed. The good news is there’s a nice little restaurant that’s right in...

"What a wonderful stay we had ! Our hosts were amazing and responsive and the house and property are amazing. We (2 kids and 4 adults) were treated to a winter wonderland with enough snow to sled on. We hiked at Grayson Highlands, had coffee and treats at the general store in Lansing, checked out the fly fishing spots, and visited Damascus and West Jefferson. Such a beautiful place to unwind! At the end of each day we read books by the fire and walked the extensive trails on the property...

We had a temperature drop but the gas fireplace made it cozy and sitting along the pines was very peaceful!The serenity of this little cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed to get away and decompress. "This cabin was perfect! Stunningly beautiful especially with the fall leaves! Amenities were as stated. The bedrooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated. My family really enjoyed the gameroon as well! The deck and covered porch were awesome! And I was able to take my little dogs! I would definitely recommend this cabin to my friends and family!"
