"The hotel is a bit dated, but the nicest option close to Amberd Fort. Since I was planning on sunrise at the fort it was worth the stay, otherwise you can probably find better in Yerevan."

However, our view was of an abandoned property and junkyard-like area, which didn’t give us a good feeling about our stay in this downtown area. We wandered around for about an hour trying to find it and most locals seemed confused by it too. It is actually very near the bus station, in a great location.
