"Not a lot of places close but restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. The town of Bunkie itself had quite a few restaurants. Pool has no water so kids kinda bummed. Breakfast was minimal. Waffles fruit cereal. Room was decent and clean. Staff was friendly. "

"This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. I am very pleased and will stay here again."

"Overall the property we stayed at was 5 star for the price point per night, kitchen is not equipped to cook, dishes are minimal and the kitchen was “used”. The backyard while they allowed pets was unkept and when it rained became gross and soggy. I needed the backyard for my pets and they didn’t want to walk through the standing water. Egg rock or something back there needs to be done. You are paying for what you get, it sufficed for the time but improvements need to be made. We stayed for 2...
