"Friendly staff at check in. It was Memorial Day weekend and our room wasn’t quite ready yet when we arrived at 5pm, but my girlfriend and I were each given a free drink voucher for the hotel bar which we were cool with. Didn’t have to wait around long either - like 15 minutes. Room was nice and comfy. Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops around Las Olas. Fun property to explore. "This resort is the absolute BEST in Hollywood beach! My husband and I frequent South Florida and ever since we found the Diplomat we stay here as long as they have availability for us. The accommodations are next level- truly a resort, not just some hotel. From the helpful and friendly nature of the staff, to the amazing restaurants on site and the amazing pool/beach area- you will NOT be disappointed here!"

"The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. However, the inside of the shower could have been more thoroughly cleaned around the edges. The towels need fabric softener. The food at the outside cafe is terrible and expensive. There are several restaurants conveniently located outside the resort that serve delicious food at a much lower prices. The resort should consider changing the space to a spa leasing to a good franchise,or consider using the space for nightly entertainment....

"The bed was awful"

"The hotel staff were all extremely helpful. The pool and rooftop club amenities were great and the beach is right at the end of the block. Great view and tiki hut beach staff were also very helpful. Always can find a chair and an umbrella if needed. Nice cabanas too if you want one. And, you can always find music and good food in walking distance on the boardwalk and nearby."

"Everything at the hotel was amazing. Clean, friendly staff, and all the amenities were great at the beach and pool. They were able to accommodate an early check in for us which was great! There isn’t anything walking distance but everything was a short and easy drive. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay here again in the future!"

"I overall enjoyed our stay. The shower pressure was not good at all, way too low. The Steel Pan restaurant did not look clean so we left before ordering. The staff was very friendly and professional. This a super kid friendly hotel. Since we left ours homes this time, that wasn't ideal for us lol! The access to the beach was all worth it. "Moldy broken frig. Party's with blaring music from rooms and someone had boom box at pool so never able to use. Propery did not enforce noice policy. Maintence man was awesome. Girl at desk understood why we checked out early. Our neighboring room was out on patio drinking and was bragging how many guns they had with them. Nope my elderly mother didn't feel safe and unable to sleep with all the noise. The worst hotel experience I've ever had!"

"The sinks in the bathroom didn’t drain, the toilet paper was cheap single ply, and the holder was broken, the pillows were too big for sleeping, and we booked a room with a pool view and instead we looked I’ve the top of the building. For what we paid, I expected more."

"Everything was so good"

"This is my home away from home. Let me start with the staff, everyone is amazing from the front desk to the waiters. Nicole and Jaylon are the best and never disappoint. The breakfast is always delicious. The rooms are clean and if there is something they need to tend to, they get right on it. I love the pool and the pool bar- very convenient and serve great frozen daiquiris. Looking forward to future stays."

"Kelly at the front desk was amazing! The rooms were very clean but we mainly came for the roof top bar which have been closed for months and they didnt mentioned that on the website. So I have the hotel a 3 star rating because of that."
