"Our stay at this resort was extremely disappointing overall. The only real highlight was the phenomenal corner-room view overlooking both the bay and the ocean. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The room itself had several issues immediately. A pillow cover was torn on both sides, and after removing it, housekeeping simply placed the same damaged pillow back on the bed the next day. There was also no hairdryer in the room despite it being advertised online. After calling the front desk...

"This resort is the absolute BEST in Hollywood beach! My husband and I frequent South Florida and ever since we found the Diplomat we stay here as long as they have availability for us. The accommodations are next level- truly a resort, not just some hotel. From the helpful and friendly nature of the staff, to the amazing restaurants on site and the amazing pool/beach area- you will NOT be disappointed here!"

"The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. However, the inside of the shower could have been more thoroughly cleaned around the edges. The towels need fabric softener. The food at the outside cafe is terrible and expensive. There are several restaurants conveniently located outside the resort that serve delicious food at a much lower prices. The resort should consider changing the space to a spa leasing to a good franchise,or consider using the space for nightly entertainment....

"When we arrived we were told to move our vehicle across the street to the parking garage and could not get luggage out first. Absolutely no help with getting luggage to the reception desk, no signs on what elevator to take, an absolute cluster. The couch in the room was worn/torn, s stain on the comforter in the bedroom. "The hotel was beautiful 😍 nice oceanfront room with a decent balcony overlooking the beach ⛱️. Lovee every moment. We booked this stay for one night after a 3 day cruise, and the location is prime. We had dinner at the Nube rooftop restaurant located in the hotel and it was delicious."

"Everything at the hotel was amazing. Clean, friendly staff, and all the amenities were great at the beach and pool. They were able to accommodate an early check in for us which was great! There isn’t anything walking distance but everything was a short and easy drive. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay here again in the future!"

"Perfect location, right across from the beach. The staff overall was good with the exception of check in and when we called for a later check out. They were a little rough around the edges. Our check lady out was very nice. Steve the bartender was great. Pizza spot in the corner was delicious. Overall the hotel is nice, clean, and at a great location. Would stay there again."

"This is my home away from home. Let me start with the staff, everyone is amazing from the front desk to the waiters. Nicole and Jaylon are the best and never disappoint. The breakfast is always delicious. The rooms are clean and if there is something they need to tend to, they get right on it. I love the pool and the pool bar- very convenient and serve great frozen daiquiris. Looking forward to future stays."

"Valet and desk staff were friendly. We got a one bedroom suite and it was spacious but dirty. The balcony was gross, the floors in room were dorty, left over crackers and food in kitchen cabinets from who knows how many guests before us. The location is not very close to the beach. You will have to drive and pay for parking. The pool was also dirty with pigeon poop all over and not many pool loungers so we could not really enjoy the pool. Also shower water pressure was poor."

"When I arrived at Check in I told them I purchased an Ocean front room with a king bed and in there system showed something else. So they wound up giving me an ocean view with two queen beds that my wife was so upset at me. Why did I rent this room? On the second day, they gave me the oceanfront room which I requested on the booking and but my first day was a total disaster."
