A truly magical setting with service to match. We’ve stayed in many New Zealand hotels, and this was the first where the staff seemed truly focused on exceeding guests’ expectations. If you're looking for something near the airport and off the beaten path, this is it. A guest area in the complex was very comfortable and the breakfast snacks were plentiful. Hosts couldn't have been nicer. Even helped me find the Southern Cross.

Staying at Dyers House is a wonderful experience! Angela and Barry Hawkins are very knowledgeable about the area, as well as being warm, gracious and humorous hosts. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Views of the city from the house are exceptional, and the gardens that surround the home are lovely. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Signage for property parking for the hotel was missing, for which required me to search at busy airport parking . When this was reported , staff merely remarked it was the responsibility of the airport

Very nice accommodations

The hotel is conveniently located within the city center and made it easy to walk to shops and many great restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the hotel for a few days at the start of our trip and again on our last few days of our trip. We did purchase the breakfast option and what exactly was included seemed to be staff-dependent. During our first stays, we were not told of any restrictions on the breakfast menu. The George is an outstanding hotel. The service was amazing. The bistro and bar were very good. The room was very comfortable and modern. The location is right next to the Avon River and park and is a perfect place to stay at in Christchurch if you want to walk to the main attractions.

Carnmore is a nice hotel. For the convenience of guests, need to provide breakfast. At least continental breakfast.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were very spacious and clean with lovely decor. The location was great within walking distance to everything. The staff at the front desk were all very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again if in Christchurch.
