"The hotel was nice with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms provided good heating and was a comfortable stay."

"Lovely"

"Okay for a quick stop through. Rooms are a little outdated and could do with a freshen up."

"For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room preparation and facility was shockingly bad. * No Shampoo in the room * The casing of the air conditioner is open, exposing internal compartments and components. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. "Wonderful property very unique"

"What a lovely place to stay!"

"Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff"

"Great experience overall and amazingly helpful and friendly staff"

"Friendly team, good amenities & centre of town. Communal lounge & kitchen is well equipped. All in all a good stay at a good price."

"Staff friendly enough however when we went to ask some more information questions the office was closed, even though their office hours indicated they would be open! Room comfortable, warm & quiet. Handy to walk anywhere in town. A nice stay"

"Very beautiful views outside. It was nice to stay in small individual houses and not worry about noise from next door or above. The staff were very kind and helped as needed. We were able to use the kitchen to make multiple meals. Individual car park is right next to the unit which makes unloading and loading very convenient. Offsite parking for additional cars."

"The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy"

"Très propre. Très confortable. Le foyer est un plus très agréable"

"Nice place"

"Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to...

"The room was clean and well-kept. Lots of space, and nice bathroom. Check-in was very easy, and the staff was very helpful in answering our questions. Great option if staying in the Franz Josef area."

"Room well presented. The reception offered to take our bags up the stairs to our room which was above and beyond."

"Beautiful property Lovely breakfast catered for our vegetarian dietary requirements. Friendly staff and huge room."

"In a good location."
