We made dinner 5 out of 7 evenings and had breakfast several days. First visit to St. John, was not prepared for the drive up the hill to the property. We got use to it quickly, but it is a steep climb. Driving on the entire island is a challenge but worth it and kind of fun! Thanks for the beach gear and cooking supplies. "My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here at Horizon's Edge! This home was a great fit for 7 adults (my parents, siblings, and our partners) and even though we all looked at pictures of the house in anticipation and preparation, everyone was blown away when we opened the front door for the first time. "Stayed at an Eco Cabin with wife and two kids for 3 nights. Had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Cabin is very basic basic but had enough for us. No cell service was a plus for us, but wifi available closer to the pool. Pool was great for the kids to enjoy, with a great view. Restaurant was okay, but nothing great. "We loved the house! The road getting there was horrendous. We had ordered a Jeep from the rental company but they gave us a much bigger vehicle. By the end of the week we had gotten pretty good at navigating the washed out sections. We are not nightlife people so we loved being in Coral Bay and being closer to our favorite beaches."

"My second stay at Pura Vida was much like the first, fantastic. Friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Good view, nice decks and stocked with everything needed for preparing meals and going to the beach. Working generator and extra tank in case power went out, in order to run water pump and power electronics or refrigerator. I'll be back."
