"Rough road to get there. Dinner was not great, very poor value for price. Lovely ambiance. Beautiful courtyard. Loved dinner by the fireplace. Kind server. Do not recommend the eggplant! Bathroom had loose ceiling tiles that seemed open to outside. Very humid smelling room. Nice big room but disappointing fire 180/night."

"This hotel is very well situated to walk in Latacunga. We were there only one night before a 3 day hike and would recommend. Everything was clean and modern. We had a small plate of nuts and fruits in the room when we got there, which was nice. There are 2 things that could be improved: 1. Breakfast was included and there were a lot of options but only fruits for vegan. It would be nice to have nuts or bread without eggs as an additional option. 2. It was very warm in the room and we had to close the window since it smelled like food outside. They offer an option to bring you a portable fan/AC which is nice but it was very loud and noisy during the night. The next day the mentionned they have quieter units. The staff was great and overall would recommend. "

"Such a great hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff!! The room was a decent size and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly responsive to our needs. We had a car on checking in and staff immediately opened up the secure garage to allow us to park. We felt completely safe leaving our car here. Also, the hair dryer attached to the bathroom wall was only working intermittently so I was given another one within 1 minute of reporting it. Finally, the breakfast was good with fresh made-to-order eggs. You should definitely stay here if your travels take you to Latacunga!!"
