"Property is clean. It is located close to the road so you can hear the traffic and trucks all night long if you are a light sleeper. The bed is VERY firm as well. The shower pressure is really good and the water gets hot— nice and relaxing after hiking and looking for elk."

"Small family-owned B&B, and owner takes the time to get to know you. Rooms are old-fashioned but comfy if you like a no-nonsense stay without bells and whistles. Homemade breakfast is provided in the morning but the portions are pretty small. Pretty easy walk to restaurants and businesses in the downtown area. "

"Room was dingy, deck clerk ran 5 charges on our card so far we have gotten 2 removed and have 3 pending. TV and internet were on/off every 5-10 minutes. Very unwelcome type room. Room was not what we requested. Finally spoke with owner who assured us we would get a complete refund and we traveled back home 3 hours. Very bad experience."

"Cabin was as described and more! So cozy and the snow made even more so. Dan, the host, is great! Kitchen was stocked with all cooking essentials which for us is a need be. Anticipation for Elk proved great! We will return!"

"It was a great little cabin. It had everything we needed plus more. We didn’t see any elk, but lots of elk droppings including in the back yard of the cabin so they were close. "

"This was such a charming and lovely cabin! The hosts were so gracious and even decorated for the holiday! It was everything that I could’ve wanted and more! A storm hit on our final day and they were so kind and had us for an extra night to ensure that we had a safe drive home!! Very clean, fast wifi, salt for the driveway, plenty of water jugs for drinking water, and lots of clean towels. All of the little things really do matter when you’re staying out in the woods! "

"We stayed at this cabin so that we could go to Benezette to see the elk. It was about 20 minutes away from the Elk Visitor Center. Cabin was clean, very comfortable, and perfect for a few days away. Our host was wonderful. She was there to greet us when we arrived and answered any questions that we had. The cabin is stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We needed to take our own bedding and towels."

This was our first time away for five days straight and we loved every second. So much so, we left the cabin once. The atmosphere and cabin were absolutely perfect."
