"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. "One of the nicer hotels in Gibraltar. Nice breakfast at the top of the building, next to swimming pool with great views. Spacious room sizes. The annoying thing was the strange musty smell from the bathroom, which would be annoying if the door is not shut. "
