"Quiet and good parking. Not to convenient for dining options if you want to walk. Pool and area looked fine but didn't get a chance to use because of the weather."

"Beautiful. The watergardens are so peaceful and the longer walk to the waterfall for swimming was worth the climb. Our " house" was beautifully decorated and breakfast was great with all we could want. A hidden gem well worth the trip."

"No staff. Didn’t know where to go . Lawns not mowed. Cleaning equipmment left in bedroom. Bathroom and toilet facilities far away from bedroom. Far too expensive compared to other motel accommodation "

"The host was welcoming. Great location. Very quiet at night. Then a short drive to Waihi Beach and Bowentown. We had a lovely day at the beach with our dog. "

"This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go."

One thing that was mentioned was the number of the house wasnt visible for a taxi to know which house it was to pick us up at. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would tell friends of this cottage if they need to stay in Waihi."
