"My husband and I traveled from Chicago and stayed at this hotel for 8 nights while touring Harbin. We had a wonderful stay experience - very friendly staff, excellent amendities, and super convenient location. All for a very friendly price :) We hope to come back here some day!"

"The hotel looks quite new and its staff's service still needs a lot more work. First of all, if you are a foreigner and are intending to pay your room charges with your foreign-issued credit card, do NOT stay here as their card machine cannot accept foreign cards. So you would need to pay by cash. Secondly, if you need a taxi please do not count on the hotel staff to help you as they told us that they could not call a taxi for us and that we had to stand outside and try to flag one down...

"I arrived at this hotel at 2am, Saturday, Demember 19th. I had made a booking through Hotels.com. It was freezing cold outside, and I was very much looking forward to getting to my room. However, when I got to the front desk, the receptionist called the manager and then told me I couldn't stay. She was obviously embarassed about the whole situation, and apologised. "Our stay at the Holiday Inn Mudanjiang was very nice. The staff are amazing, especially Zhang Dan in the restaurant at breakfast service, and Xu Xiao Yu and Wang Nan on reception. We highly recommend this hotel."
