A beautiful property, well maintained, clean and in a good part of the city.

Just stayed one night with my family and we didn’t want to leave. The house is over 100 years old but has modern conveniences and was very clean and comfortable. The futon beds were perfect. The AC was strong. And best of all was the food. Dinner was a 12-13 course omakase with fish we’ve never tasted, like blowfish. Overall excellent, great room, great view, great dining. The hotel is very new. Just make sure to book the south tower hotel. Be aware there are hotels under the same name at the train station, this one is the south hotel.

This place is a total gem. They only have 11 rooms so the staff really gets to know everyone. Amazing staff. The rooms were so cute and comfortable. There's a fun little place to eat Okonomi a minute away, but not much else in this quiet neighborhood. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but you can get a breakfast basket in the morning. Hiroshima Station is an easy 15 minute walk away. Delightful stay.

The location is ideal as it is directly across the street from the ferry. The shopping street and the famous Itsukushima Shrine is just a short walk away. I stayed in a room that had the bed in an upstairs loft. Things to consider if you book this room are the stairs are pretty steep and it’s not a small flight of stairs. Perfect hotel for our honeymoon. The room had a beautiful view to the sea and nearby islands. The breakfast was very complete consisting of multiple small dishes. Everything was high quality, the rooms, the onsen, the lounge area, etc. Most importantly, the staff and the bartender (Kai) were super helpful and welcoming.

Our first trip to Hiroshima, so obviously our first trip to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to streetcar stops, convenience stores, Peace Center, restaurants. Hotel has a very welcoming check-in area on the 14th floor, which has a panoramic view of the downtown Hiroshima area. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks as we watched the sun set. Great place

This place amazingly Clean and modernized. I love how they give out amenities at the reception area. They even have an osen, only issue is that I needed to cover my tattoos (which is fine, I respect the culture - thankfully the reception desk gives out concealing stickers for your tattoos). I wished I could have stayed there longer

The staff were wonderful and the hotel was clean and very convenient. The public bath was great. My mother said, if the room we stayed in had a kitchen she could live there.

A good stay in Hiroshima at the Mercure - centrally located and about a 20min walk from the train station or take a short tram ride from the station. One thing that drew us to this hotel was the washer/dryer combo in the room. They also provide detergent. We were able to get three loads of laundry done BUT it takes approx 3.5hrs for each load (washing and drying) so plan accordingly. The hotel is immaculate and staff are very polite. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Some spoke English very well. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with traditional Japanese dishes along with American style items including a cook to order omelette chef.

Staff was helpful. Stay was fun. Didn’t use there dining services- would consider next time due to limited options available at the time.
