"A very disappointing stay at Senoma Hotel. We arrived on a very hot day and the hotel staff wanted to take us to our room. Unfortunately he did not know where our room was and took us to the wrong end of the hotel - minor mistake but typical of dealing with the hotel. No instructions on how to use the hotel safe and at least two rooms could not get their safe reopened. The bathroom sink is poorly designed and you can’t fit your hands under the faucet. Had a good dinner at the restaurant. Tried to get change of a 100 soles to leave a tip. The cashier at the bar would not help us. Eventually another waiter gave us change. In the morning there was NO HOT WATER and we all had to take cold showers. On our way out we wondered if we would have had a nicer stay at one of the nearby hostels."

"The beach has trash on it. Don’t walk barefoot. It looks like they try to keep it clean though. The building out on the pier smells awful and is not in use. Maybe because of all the bird poop? The pools were very nice and the food for breakfast and dinner were excellent, This is Peru. Time moves more slowly. Don’t be in a rush for service. The dog on site is very friendly, but can get aggressive if you stop petting. "

"El hotel es precioso, bien ubicado y muy cómodo. Nos quedamos en una habitación al lado de la piscina. El plan del hotel a Islas Ballestas es inmejorable: muy bien organizado, el guía muy conocedor y amable y es en una lancha privada del hotel muy cómoda. La conserje nos ayudó con el plan de los buggies que no fue en Ica sino en un desierto muy cerca del hotel en el que teníamos los buggies asignados solo para nuestro grupo y unos guías muy atentos. La comida en el restaurante del hotel deliciosa y variada. A última hora nos enteramos que había una cafetería adicional donde se podía ordenar pizza y no la pudimos disfrutar."
