"Don’t be fooled by the Westin branding. Classic domestic hotel: looks good from a distance but rooms too hot and too dry, no way to control heating, fixtures and fittings falling apart, horrible smells coming from the plumbing, poor cleanliness, offensively bad coffee etc. Honestly, I suspect it’s no better or worse than the neighbouring hotels, just giving an honest review from a European perspective.
Staff were very friendly though, and it’s very close to the ski area. Good restaurants...

We stayed for 2 nights after 4 nights at a skii trip in Songhua Ski Resort. My youngest son broke his leg skiing, and he had a fresh cast. The hotel was super-accommodating with bedding, and had a complementary wheelchair to use. Breakfast buffet is awesome - one of the best, and I've stayed at all the 5+star major brands in Asia. Location was great for nearby Dongbei food or chinese bbq.

This hotel is world standard, very clean, a lot of parking, the breakfast is great with a lot of choices on Chinese's food and western food. It is a little far from the city center, but Bus #10 is just a few minutes walk. There is no shops around the hotel, it is located in the industrial area but quiet enough.
