"The location is great with beautiful view of sunrise and convenient with restaurants and shops. The heritage unit is renovated but still rustic and quaint. It has a shared balcony that you can visit your neighbours. The bed is most comfortable and great amenities of various tea, espresso and coffee. The cup and glass tray was a bit dirty and sticky. Overall, it was a great stay."

"Free parking and nice cafes nearby"

"Lovely Manager who helped us to check in slightly earlier than normal which was very much appreciated. The villa had every kitchen item we needed for self-cooking while staying. There is also a washing machine in the Villa and a place to hang laundry in the little private courtyard. Great location in Kingscote opposite the jetty."

"The view, the quiet, the pub meal."

"Clean rooms, basic bedding, kitchen utensils underdone (no paring knife, no potato peeler), kettle slow and very noisy."

"We enjoyed every moment! The tent was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our visit amazing:) A beautiful setting and very well maintained grounds. We got to enjoy breakfast on the deck with the Wallabies. Perfect experience to add to the Island. "

"This location is great and so close to Flinders Chase National Park. It’s quiet and clean with great amenities. Bed was very comfortable and we see lots of wildlife. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Well done!"

"Our room had a smell on arrival. Heard mice in the walls of our bedroom - not nice at all. ? was it appropriate for people to occupy this?"

"Excellent views , great communication from hosts. Saw koalas and emus outside my room. Really well equipped . Perfect"

"Very comfortable, well equipped accommodation. Great location. Clean and easy to access room."

"The room looks clean, staff is friendly. It would be much better if the room is more spacious."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, at this price point, there were simply too many issues. The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. On a positive note, the complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture. That said, the property would...

"Great people. Wonderful experience with kangaroos and koalas. Excepitional beauty and senerity."

"A lovely quiet spot. Cosy is the perfect word. Owners very helpful. Would stay again."

"The property’s rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful. However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine. We were disappointed there were no coat hangers to hang our clothes. It would be advisable to take some insect...

"The well equipped house had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This accommodation was close to many interesting places like Seal Bay, Kelly Hill caves and Flinders Chase National Park. The host gave us information about the various attractions on the island and communicated well with us prior to our stay. There was parking available . We would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay."

"Great location for kangaroo island marathon and finders chase national park."
