"This hotel offered a great breakfast (choice of Japanese or Western food) which was included in the price but only costs 200 yen if you had to pay for it. Seating for breakfast is on the floor, Japanese style, and this whole hotel is a place where you need to take your shoes off as you enter. I had to take a smoking room but there was nothing smoky about it. Current cleanliness was fine, but the carpets throughout the hotel sure could use replacement. "Location is good, easy to access. Room is clean. Public bathroom/Toilets. There is no elevator, we have to lift the luggage using stairs to 2nd floor."

"This is an excellent ryokan owned by a family, with clean and neat japanese style en-suite and onsen. It locates at the top of a small hill overlooking the supreme zekkei of the Shimanto River. The owner and the staffs are very hospitable, we wish to visit again in the future, perhaps in a different season. Thank you very much and we had a wonderful stay."

"Fabulous wooden hut accomodation in the woods by a stream, but although there was a cafe and menu, they wanted 5 days pre-booking for food. This wasnt mentioned anywhere in the booking info - lucky we had a car to travel the half hour journey to nearest town. Others who had booked food had good ameneties for bar-b-que etc but we felt a bit hard done by."

We were able to safely store our two bikes in their office which was very important to us. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great and close to restaurants. Highly recommend!"

"The area itself it pretty beautiful, which helps a lot! The hotel has a good ocean view from the room (in my case) and from the breakfast area. Honestly, everything was pretty great! The pool is good, the breakfast is good, the view is good, the restaurants and izakaya inside the hotel are good as well. The only problem was the bedroom. The furniture is pretty old and the bed isn't so comfortable. Although it's a big bedroom with two beds and a sofa!"
