"The hotel is very big yet beautiful. The rooms are spacious and we were pleased to find a hairdryer in the bathroom. Evening entertainment was great but also easily avoided if required. We also enjoyed the selection of pools and meals on offer! Would highly recommend this hotel."

"The property was very nice and the room was clean. The staff was courteous and the owner was very helpful. The room had no air conditioning and the power went off for about 4 hours in the middle of the night. It was very hot and difficult to sleep. Also the water pressure was barely a trickle making showering almost impossible. "

"We had the most amazing honeymoon stay at Kwanza Resort! ❤️ From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect and made our honeymoon so special and memorable. The resort was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was exceptional. All the staff were so kind, welcoming and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Their warmth and hospitality really made a difference to our experience. A special mention to the beautiful honeymoon and birthday...

"Tout était parfait, l’accueil, le service, la propreté. Le personnel est vraiment au petit soin"

"كانت الاقامه ممتازه و تتميز بالهدوء والراحه و كان الاكل جيد ولكن ينقصه التنوع في البوفيه"

"Unfortunately, our two-week stay was quite disappointing, mainly due to the food and poor organisation. The biggest problem was that there simply wasn’t enough food for all the guests. The menu was very limited at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At first, we thought we were arriving too late, but even when we started coming earlier, there was still not enough food and very little choice. We have stayed at many hotels in Zanzibar, and we have never experienced anything like this before. I find...

"We were very excited to stay at this hotel after seeing the photos, but unfortunately it turned out to be a major disappointment. First of all, there was no proper hot water in our room. Even though we reported the issue to the reception several times, it was not addressed promptly. We were eventually told that, in order to get hot water in the shower, we first had to run the hot water in the bathtub and wait. In addition, dirty water came out when we turned on the taps. There seemed to be...

"My husband and I were choosing between this hotel and another one. We almost didn’t choose this one because it was new and had very few reviews, but we’re so glad we did – what a hotel! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with direct access to the beach. It was the perfect place to completely relax and slow down. The guys in charge of the sports activities were incredibly helpful and really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was also great – it had everything...

"Fint hotell och härliga pooler. Mycket trevlig personal och bra mat. Fin strand med havet precis utanför. Vi var mycket nöjda "

"Really relaxing and calming hotel. Had everything you needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the areas were nice including the pool. Staff were amazing and a special shoutout to Judith who made my stay and birthday special. Will never forget her ❤️"

"Super"

"Very beautiful location on the seaside. Personnel very nice, kind and friendly, always available to support every need. Resturant even excellent. Warmly suggested if you want to be on holiday but feeling as you were at home."

"If you want to enjoy beaches on the East coast of Zanzibar, which are clean and not overcrowded, Breezes in Dongwe is a good place to go. For a half board and not an all inclusive hotel, Breezes is relatively expensive in comparison, because the room rates are high and you will pay every lunch and every drink extra. The food and the drinks are good but not as good as the room rate and the prices (to be paid in US Dollars) would suggest and it might not be the cook’s or the barman or barmaid’s...

"Great hotel"

"When I first arrived the man at the front desk was confused about my booking, and told me to wait until the next shift arrives. They don't give you a broucher or map explaining the resort and hours of operations. Instead there is a QR code placard in the room and if you scan it you get redirected. I went to call the front desk to discover the phone didn't work. I had to make an international call to get someone at there number give a message to the front desk. They claimed it would be fixed that...
