"This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! "

"The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay."

"The small hotel is in Marampata, Peru, close to Choquequirao. Everything that gets to Marampata comes on a human's or mule's back on a brutally long day of hiking. The fact that the hotel exists there is amazing in itself. No idea how the mattresses got there. My son and I stayed 2 nights on a recent hiking trip to Choque. "The stay was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast included potato slices (or possibly yucca of some sort), Avocado, eggs, bread, jam, butter, fresh bananas, fresh orange-like citrus and coffee and tea. The highlight is the fresh juice. Most days it was papaya or pineapple. I would recommend that the hotel get black out blinds for the more light sensitive folks such as myself. "
