This was the highlight of our trip!! Such a relaxing and lovely stay, perfectly luxurious without fuss, rustic in decor but also well maintained and very very warm and hospitable hosts, including the two cats and a chicken. The beautiful pool was a lifesaver on a very very hot two day stay, the meals were delicious and breakfasts bountiful. Cannot recommend enough. I was genuinely sad to leave.

Incredible!!!! 10/10.. cannot get over how large our room and balcony was. After traveling Italy for three weeks this was the perfect 2 day escape that felt like home. Excellent bedding and pillows. Super friendly staff. It was perfection!!!!!

We booked this on a whim when our travel plans pivoted. Everything about this stay was a five star experience. The location, the staff, the cleanliness,the incredible views from the room. The breakfast in particular was exceptional and my favorite out of several stays across Italy. Walkable to incredible restaurants and jus steps above the beach. We will be daydreaming about going back!!

Best hotel! Someone had a concept for a great hotel and created this place. The decor was great, thought-provoking. The breakfast was awesome, with the French pastries daintily set upon their little stands and the meats refrigerated from below. The room was delightful and the shower was great...and roomy. We had planned one night and stayed over for two. The staff was nice; when we left they gave us two water bottles and a bag of cookies. Everything was perfece. I would spend a week here...

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, amazing food, QUIET. Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences. Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made. The experience is worth every penny.

A beautiful and unique property located on a prominent pet on the beach. What was once an old fort has been converted to a beautiful hotel, perfectly located. Trey are no sandy beaches here, but the sea is lovely, and the food and service is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Huge room, great service. Would 100% stay again. Though I was super annoyed that there was no in-room coffee or even a kettle!

Stella, Antonio, and Giovanna all made for a great stay at Countryhouse Federico -- they were all very warm, welcoming, and helpful in answering questions about the town and its surroundings. I stayed in the downstairs suite, which including a large bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen with gas stove and refridgerator. We stayed at the Villa Raffaello Park for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was an easy 15 minute drive to Assisi.

The staff were nice and helpful, very clean room . The hotel offered delightful breakfast, variety of fresh fruits and pastries, and fruit juices. Parking is free . Overall , we enjoyed our 4 night stay and will definitely book in this hotel again next time we visit to Monte San Guisto.

I left with a heavy heart, and will absolutely come back. The view is fantastic, the hotel has a ""60s flavor", but it is well kept. The staff is extremely professional, experienced and will make you feel welcome. First class restaurant, wine selection is good too.
