Royal Ambassador Hotel

"It is very fancy looking hotel inside. Staff were generally helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable - used a double "twin" room but beds were more full size. Curved stairs was only way to second floor (no elevator). Air conditioning in the rooms & restaurant worked OK, but lobby & hallways not so well. An electric hot water pot with instant coffee or tea bags, TV, desk & chair, phone (without any instructions), toothbrush, toothpaste, soap bar & 1 towel (no handtowel or wash cloth) were the only in-room amenities. Outdoor Pool was large and had a separate shallow pool, but hot tub was not available as advertised. Restaurant was pretty nice ( ate their several meals but some items on menu not available). Breakfast was not buffet as advertised, but had a selectable small menu (again without items available on the list). It is near near ROB airport and has a free shuttle. They also allow extended stay for reasonable fee since we didn't fly out until evening. Only saw 2 other hotels in the area (which is far from Monrovia)-- one much more expensive and one cheaper but questionable in quality and no 2-bed rooms."

"I have nothing but praise for this wonderful establishment. The oceanfront location is simply stunning, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed to take full advantage of the view. The property's family-friendly atmosphere was evident, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed their time on the beach. The property is very clean inside and out. staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone seeking a peaceful and secure getaway."

"Nice hotel, definitely one of the best options in Monrovia. A bit dated in places, but the rooms are pleasant, staff helpful and the public areas are well maintained. Also right next door to Mamba Point, which opens up further good dining options."

"I loved staying at this resort. The staff is very friendly, helpful and just great people. The food is delicious: I recommend the Bacon cheese burger! The site is so peaceful and relaxing, the perfect getaway! On Sundays they play loud music which I wasn't the largest fan of, but it definetly made the resort more of a vibe! I will absolutely be staying there again!"

"Clean room, staff and amenities. Every single staff was very friendly and nice, always willing to help and tried their best to provide anything I requested. My stay felt like home and I will definitely be staying here again anytime I visit Liberia. The manager, a very great guy and very friendly and always checking to make you are ok. Thank you all for making my stay wonderful. I will recommend this place 100 percent."
