"2 stars for location to the Gardens (which were wonderful) and very kind staff. Unfortunately, everything else was a miss for us. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. I brought my own pillow, but my husband didn’t and wished he had. Neither of us slept well because the mattress was in such shabby state. The in-room fireplace put out heat, but didn’t flame (other than the pilot light, which stayed on no matter the temperature it was set) which was disappointing. The rooms were probably nice once...

"Nice place to stay"

"My office is in Salem and this is our go to place when I have to be onsite for more than a day. This time was disappointing. The parking lot was being resurfaced and the signage was not great. Plus, a notice would have been nice. The front desk person wasn't very friendly this time at check in. Plus, maintenance on the pool during the day was confusing since it was hard to tell if we could access the gym. It wasn't the best stay this time."

"Older hotel in need of minor updates.. our room (318) had a broken mirror, damage to a shelf in The refrigerator, a leak onto the bathroom floor, and, a sticker on the mirror that was written on. The carpet in the hallway was a trip hazard"

"It was a modern hotel, but the location was super noisy, a lot of homeless and the beds were rock hard! Definitely didn’t get a good night sleep any of the nights we stayed."

"The room was clean and comfortable, has refrigerator but no ice or dishes. Reasonable place to stay. Just bare bones motel."

"The breakfast was great (waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage patties, yogurt bar, oatmeal bar)and room was immaculate. Definitely would stay again."
