"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. "Laguna de Apoyo is truly a paradise location. Birds and sometimes monkeys and iguanas coming close.The next door hotel is not functioning, so the place is quite calm.Swimming in the Laguna is a incredible treat!Unfortunately 'La Giralda' really needs investment and renovation.The air conditioning is so noisy that it is impossible to use.
