All staff members at the hotel were kind and very professional in taking my requests even after business hours with detail and sophisticated manner. The hotel is a bit dated but the location is excellent if you want to ride on the Gozaisho Ropeway. It is right next to the Ropeway station. Moreover and since we booked our room on a Sunday that traffic to the hotel is quite bad as a lot of people were driving to the summit to take the ropeway ride. On the other hand, we take advantage of its vicinity to the station that we are the first taking the ride the next day. Ticket to ropeway riding is sold in the hotel at a discount. The hotel...

From Shikanoyu, it's a 5 minute walk to the cable car (called a Ropeway in Japan) that goes to the top of Mt Gozaisho. It's close to the Suzuka race course, and the flower garden Nabana no Sato. It's also within driving distance of Ise Jingu (1 hr 20 minutes), Kyoto (1 hr 30 minutes) and Hikone Castle (1 hr 25 minutes) The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is what you would expect from a good ryokan in Japan...exquisite. I would not recommend driving a large vehicle, there is a very narrow Sharp turn to get to the parking area.

The hotel is located close to the train station in Toba. It has wonderful onsen and an outdoor pool. All the rooms have views of the waterfront. The buffets for dinner a breakfast are fantastic! The rooms are spacious and have extra futons, as well as 2 western beds. There was a massage chair and baking bath. I soaked and listen to the waves with a view of the bay.

I think a lot of tourists may be having hard time to search from Ugata station to this site, yet transportation service is great and accessible! Hotel condition meets beyond basic standards, and amenities are great! Onsen was great!

Great hotel with an excellent location and very friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The service was great, and the overall experience was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.
