Great stay and great host.

Great guesthouse with a wonderful host. We stayed 2 nights. Room was simple but had all you needed. The breakfast made by Cynthia both mornings was the highlight of our stay. Easy walk into town. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights. It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay. 11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!

The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. Ella red rock was great. the guys running it went out of there way to make sure everything went smooth for us. Our starter in our tuk tuk broke on our way and they took care of it for us in under an hour! Fed us at wierd hours upon our request even delivered the food to our balcony. Food was good! View was amazing. rooms spacious. No bugs. It was hard to drive your own vehicle up the final short diry road but that the price for that view of ella rock. Only suggestion is get really exact...

I loved this hotel it's so good, cheap, comfortable rooms I got the one with balcony and it was amazing i even could see the sunrise in the morning. The staff is amazing and supportive I got everyday bottles of water and good breakfast and even tuk tuk to go everywhere. It's very quiet around and a great walk from the hotel to the main road.

This was a lovely property. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and welcoming. The breakfast was perfect.

Staff was amazing, cozy location

This is family run guest house conveniently located within walking distance of the railway station. Also only a 4 minute walk into the town centre ( which is fairly hectic at times ) This is located far enough away to be quiet and peaceful . You can hear the weekend cricket , but I think probably just about everyone in Ella can as well. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend this as a place to stay.

Lovely staff, clean rooms, view of Ella valley. Difficult to find, so it's best to have driver call ahead if possible. Look for the signs pointing towards Red Rock Ella,.which is next door.

Great and easy check in when we arrived at the hotel. The views from the room were amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

You'll have to step onto a narrow path that sometimes goes up, sometimes goes down, takes a turn or two to the left, to the right, to finally emerge in front of "Silver Dome Guest House". Mind the map to arrive there for taking a wrong turn is easily done, especially during night time. The building is deeply hidden into Ella which happened to be, as another foreigner had once put it to me, only "a street of bars, restaurants and services for Westerners mostly".
