I cannot say enough good things about Travessia. The location is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing, and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Travessia is truly a place to get away from it all and I am so appreciative of our time there. We loved that it was an eco-lodge using solar energy and was also working with the local community to be a force for good. We travel a lot, but this may be my favorite place we have ever stayed.

Great use of a picturesque lakeside location. Attentive, friendly service; excellent massage. Delicious food, varied menu. Rustic, comfortable room with inside and outside showers.

Excellent place and excellent host. Very helpful

Just stay here, you won't regret it. I went with the reviews and it was more than worth it. It has what you need if you want adventure and the tranquility if you just want to relax. The food is great and you can go to other great restaurants nearby. The beach is great, clean and you also have islands all around for day trips. But the view from your room is the cherry on top.

Great service and people! Went over and beyond to add special touches to make our honeymoon feel extra special! Looked after our bags when we left town to visit an island. Nothing was too much of a hassle! Will return.

Amazing place

Gorongosa Park is a gem and Montebelo Lodge is a wonderful option in the park. Very well set up, clean, friendly staff, great food, and right in the park! Perfect spot for safari lovers.

The view the location in the service is spectacular. I would pay twice the go rate to stay here. Loved it.

Had difficulty with air conditioner, so we checked out day early . Did not receive refund for that day.

The room was so comfortable, quiet, and clean. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

Clean large beautiful room on the 8th floor. I paid 170US for one night. View of the ocean was great. There was a Chinese grocery store nearby that had many items and in particular oatmeal. The hotel was 100m from my bus pick up point at Mundos which was great since the pick up time was 530am. Though i didn't need it, the doorman brought my bag to the cheetah express bus pick up point down the street. It gave me confidence i was in the right place as I'm traveling alone and new to the area.

I had meetings 3 days around Maputo and this made a good base. Food was very good and came quickly. Hotel staff were friendly. There is a small gym but would be nice to have music or a TV that you can turn on. Some people complained of the bugling but in general I found it a very quiet hotel in comparison to most, even though I was by the elevator.

Mozambeat is a charming little hideout. Perfect spot to start your exploration of the Tofo area. The staff was friendly and helpful when suggesting things to do in the area. They have a nice area where guests can mingle over breakfast or late afternoon drinks. Went over low season so missed out on their famous parties and movie nights but enjoyed their ocean safari discount offer they have with PeriPeri divers which was worthwhile and one of the best afternoons in my stay. Highly recommend...

Nice, stay here often.

Its a good combination nature, local content and the people are kind; I will be returning very soon.

Loved the staff

Amazing Stay once again! Thank you for hosting the Ohana One medical non-profit organization team!
