"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The ac unit made some noise but it wasnt an issue for us. This is definitely an older hotel but we enjoyed our 1 night stay. The front desk ladies were super nice and helped us to find some local shopping. We did not take advantage of the pool or gym(not like the picture only 1 muti machine). The breakfast was ok. "The man at the front was rude to us from the start. Once we got into our room it was nasty the mattress was brown and lumpy. The room was not cleaned there was hair on the bathroom floor and it smelled very musty. We decided to leave because we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping here and the front guy made it very clear we were unable to get a refund. Overall bad experience. "

"I stay in a lot of corporate hotels for work. They are clean, dependable, and boring. When I travel for fun, I try to find distinct, clean, fun (and cheap) hotels. This place was a win. It is definitely very old, but it is clean and well kept. We loved having a pool and hot tub. The included breakfast was great (those tamales were fantastic) and the overall feel was a throwback to those lost days of Americana. I’d definitely stay again. "
